Randeep Hooda's 'Main Aur Charles'.
"Baago toh aise baago, ke uspe movie baney," says Randeep Hooda's Charles Sobhraj in the first motion poster of the biopic on celebrity serial killer.
The movie is slated to hit the theatres on October 30 release.
The 39-year-old actor, who last played Raja Ravi Varma in "Rang Rasiya", took to Twitter to announce the release date as well as share the motion poster of "Main Aur Charles".
The poster features Randeep donning a perfect '70s look complete with a signature Charles Sobhraj flat cap, oversized shades, a two-piece suit and tie.
Directed by Prawaal Raman, the film set in the late '70s and '80s also stars Richa Chadda.
"I was always in the right place at the right time, always willing to take advantage of an opportunity," intones Randeep Hooda as serial killer Charles Shobhraj in the trailer of Main Aur Charles.
The 39-year-old-actor gets into the skin of the character with ease, looking the part in a flat cap, oversized shades, a two-piece suit and a tie.
The movie tracks the story of the now-incarcerated Charles Sobhraj's life. His nemesis, police officer Amod Kanth, played by Adil Hussain, also features in a significant portion of the trailer.
The biopic, which is set in the late '70s, will be Randeep's first movie after Highway in 2014. The movie also stars Richa Chadha and Tisca Chopra in key roles.
