Guinness World Record pays tribute to Blosom, the tallest cow to ever live

The Guinness World Records recently paid a tribute and bid farewell to the tallest cow in the world. The cow in conversation is 'Blosom.' At over 6 feet, the cow was owned by an American, Patty Meads-Hanson who lived with Blosom at their home in Orangeville, Illinois.

In a video released by Guinness World Records, Patty talks about Blosom and how she remained unaffected by all the attention. "As long as she had her oats, daily chin rubs and ear scratches, life was good," she said.

Patty also added that Blosom originally belonged to her father who raised the cow from when she was 8 weeks old. Blosom was officially measured at the Orangeville farm by Guinness officials who visited the farm shortly before she died.

Blosom passed away after sustaining an irreparable leg injury on May 26 2015. Watch her story here.
