Crazy deals at Gitex Shopper 2015

The Middle East's largest consumer electronics show Gitex Shopper kicked off on Saturday with too-good-to-be-true deals and millions of dirhams worth of freebies on more than 35,000 gadgets.

People braved the sun and waited in long queues before the opening of the show. Since Saturday is a holiday for a majority of offices in the UAE, the show was crowded soon after the official opening.

Thousands of eager shoppers packed Sheikh Saeed Halls 1, 2 and 3 on the first day of the show, taking advantage of deals on smartphones, digital cameras, UHD TVs, tablets and a broad spectrum of the latest electronic gadgets.

The fun-filled atmosphere saw visitors enjoying live music and entertainment, interactive product trials and giveaways. A wide choice of casual dining options added to a great day out for families.

The 25th anniversary edition has attracted some of the world's top tech brands, including Lenovo, Dell, Samsung and Toshiba. Top regional distributors and power retailers, including Jacky's, Jumbo, Max Electronics, Plug Ins and Sharaf DG, added to the line-up of exhibitors.
