Sachin Tendulkar to Star in his own Biopic!

They were waiting for his nod and once the Master Blaster agreed upon the idea, it’s been some serious amount of hard work that has been put in to create a Master Piece on the life of the Little Master himself.

The name neither the date hasn't been decided yet, but 2,000 theatres across the world are getting ready for a blockbuster release of this feature film made on the life and times of Sachin Tendulkar.

Unlike other biopics made in Bollywood, be it the Farhan Akhtar starring Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (based on Indian ace athlete Milkha Singh) or the Priyanka Chopra starrer Mary Kom, which was a biopic on Indian Boxing Champ, Mary Kom, neither of it featured the sports star on whose life the film was made. This one is going to be different and how…The Master Blaster would be seen on a different pitch, apart from acting in real-time, Tendulkar will also chip in with his inputs for the film. The film-maker—Mumbai-based production company 200 Not Out, bagged the rights to make the film from World Sports Group (WSG). It has roped in James Erskine, a London-based award-winning writer, director and producer, to direct the film.

Apart from following the phenomenal rise of Tendulkar, the film will also reveal a few aspects of his life which have never been heard of or seen before. The superbat's life as a young boy living in the suburbs of Mumbai, his early days of school and cricket, his life outside the game, marriage to Anjali and his following worldwide will all be a part of the movie apart from the game he played for more than 25 years.
