Radio Content Producer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Content Producer to join the Radio 4 Team in the UAE.
We’re at the top of the ratings and rapidly growing. You will produce and create really high quality content for all our platforms across On Air & Online. As well as fulfilling a creative role in studio, you’ll work with our On Air & Online team for the content they produce.

You’ll work with our programming, creative & sales teams to find new ways to generate revenue whilst keeping our output engaging.

We’re looking for someone who can take a hands on approach to all of our platforms with skills in web, video, online and most importantly engaging radio – having a vision for all our platforms to be outstanding is important. This isn’t a job for the faint hearted – here at Radio 4 our team strives for the best audience and revenue numbers, major market experience is a must.

Job Experience & Skills required...

Experienced Required

  • Supporting the editorial team by producing content for social media
  • Independent and group idea generation, and clearly articulating those ideas internally and then with clients
  • Script writing skills.
  • Basic skills in video editing.
  • Skills in Photoshop (with an eye for design).
  • Previous experience on any content management system.
  • Imagination – what can we do next that hasn’t been done before!
  • An understanding of the region (or at least the desire to embrace & learn it).
  • Ability to work as a part of a team. You’ll be working closely with our on-air team to translate on-air content for online channels.
  • Ability to work independently. You’ll also need to think up and create a lot of content by yourself with limited team input.
  • Working cooperatively and collaboratively with all colleagues and professionally with the client

Skills Required

  • Are creative, highly organized, detail-oriented and love getting stuff done while welcoming responsibility and tough challenges. In return, we provide a fun and flexible work environment with a high degree of freedom.
  • Day to day management of shows on our schedule.
  • Working with talent to make sure all content, whether live or prerecorded, is the best quality Briefing presenters on sponsorships, promotions, innovative show content & ideas.
  • Have production experience in a live radio environment.
  • Talent development with the shows your work with.
  • Basic understanding audio & video production.
  • Working on Selector/Linker to make sure the proper scheduling of elements on Master Control Monitoring on air / online output with the ability to professionally deliver feedback to presenters.
  • An understanding of target audiences – how can we keep them engaged with compelling content across multi-platform
