From a small ‘City of London’ to a Lovely London

Based on the River Thames, London for a long time was a small city. All its people lived inside the walls that were built by the Romans. This area is still called the City of London. Gradually, more and more people came to live there and the villages joined together into one huge city of London.

And now London is the biggest city in middle Europe, and the world's largest financial center. With its classic architecture and urban development, London is now considered as one of the world's most important cities for business, finance, and politics.

To take you back in the history here are few of the pictures of this lovely city.
