Dubai is set to organise the world’s largest unified virtual sign language class on January 21, 2026, aiming to set a Guinness World Record. The event is organised by Dubai’s Community Development Authority as part of the “Dubai Communicates in Sign Language” initiative launched in October 2025. The initiative reflects the UAE’s vision of building an inclusive society and making Dubai a friendly city for People of Determination. Government and private entities, universities, schools, citizens, residents, and global participants are invited to join. The event also aims to raise awareness of Emirati Sign Language and strengthen inclusion for the hearing-impaired community.
