Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has unveiled a new strategy to tackle rising education costs while ensuring quality schooling remains accessible. Announced by Director General Aisha Abdulla Miran at the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Forum 2025, the plan introduces incentives for socially-minded investors and government support, including subsidised land and affordable staff housing. The holistic approach integrates urban planning, operational cost management, and educational quality, aiming to build sustainable school ecosystems. KHDA also targets attracting 50% of the region’s international students by enhancing Dubai’s competitiveness. Policies will be reviewed by the Executive Council and implemented in phases.
