Dubai’s population has officially crossed four million, the highest in its history, according to estimates from the Dubai Statistics Centre. The emirate’s population has doubled in just 14 years, rising from two million in 2011 to three million in 2018, and now four million in 2025. Projections suggest it could reach five million by 2032 and six million by 2039, exceeding Dubai’s 2040 Urban Master Plan target. This rapid growth will increase demand for housing, transport, healthcare, and jobs, while also creating challenges such as inflationary pressure and traffic congestion.
