Dubai Airports has launched the next phase of its accessibility strategy to make Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC) the world’s most inclusive airports by 2035. The plan focuses on transforming infrastructure, culture, and mindset while involving People of Determination (PoD) in shaping experiences. A new awareness campaign will feature six PoD narrating their own stories, highlighting challenges and support systems at DXB. Advocates include accessibility pioneer Fatma Al Jassim and consultant Jessica Smith. Current services already include sunflower lanyards, sensory-friendly lounges, wheelchair support, hearing loops, priority lanes, and visual travel guides, aiming for “DXB for All.”
