The much awaited comedy sequel Hera Pheri 3 will not release this year, director Priyadarshan has confirmed. The filmmaker revealed that ongoing legal issues between lead actors Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal have put the project on hold.
The third film in the popular comedy franchise, which also features Sunil Shetty, has been in development for several years. However, disputes related to contracts, creative differences and financial matters have reportedly created complications, preventing the film from moving ahead as planned.
Priyadarshan stated that the situation is currently being sorted out and expressed hope that all parties will resolve their differences soon. He made it clear that until the legal matters are settled, production cannot officially begin.
