Daryl Mitchell produced a brilliant unbeaten 131 to guide New Zealand to a seven-wicket victory over India in the second ODI at Rajkot, levelling the series. Chasing 285, New Zealand were 46-2 early, but Mitchell steadied the innings with a crucial 162-run partnership with Will Young, who scored 87. Mitchell brought up his eighth ODI century from 96 balls and finished the chase with 15 balls to spare alongside Glenn Phillips. Earlier, India posted 284-7, driven by KL Rahul’s unbeaten 112, while Shubman Gill added 56.
