The UAE’s Rashid Rover 2 has completed all environmental and functional testing, including solar panels, robotic arm, antennas, and vibration resistance. It has been shipped to the United States to prepare for its 2026 launch to the far side of the Moon with Firefly Aerospace. The rover also underwent thermal vacuum testing in France. Funded by the TDRA’s ICT Fund, this marks another step in the UAE’s growing lunar exploration capabilities.
