David Beckham visited a girls’ residential school in Visakhapatnam to observe the new Project-Based Learning (PBL) initiative being implemented under Mantra4Change and Education Above All (EAA). Over 107 government residential schools across several states are now using PBL to replace rote methods with student-led projects, collaboration, and real-world problem solving. Beckham attended a live PBL session, viewed students’ projects in English, Science and Mathematics, joined a tree-planting activity where saplings were tagged digitally, and ended his visit with a football drill alongside students. His presence brought global attention to educational reform and empowered both students and teachers.
