The Delhi High Court has issued a notice to Bollywood star Salman Khan after a China-based AI voice platform asked the court to lift an interim ban protecting his personality rights. As reported by Bar and Bench, the platform argued that the court’s December 11 order is harming its business, which creates AI voice models.
During the hearing, the company’s lawyers said the restriction is disrupting their operations and innovation work. The court has now directed Salman Khan to file his reply within four weeks. The next hearing in the matter is scheduled for February 27.
Earlier, on December 11, 2025, the High Court had upheld Salman Khan’s personality rights and restrained websites, apps, and sellers from using his name, image, or voice without permission.
