The announcement followed their appearance at the premiere of Avatar: Fire and Ash on December 1, 2025, where Cyrus was seen wearing a custom diamond ring designed by Jacquie Aiche. The ring features a cushion-cut the diamond set in a 14-karat yellow gold band. The couple first met on a blind date in 2021 and became public about their relationship in 2022.
