Dubai Police has launched the “Summer Without Accidents 2026” campaign in partnership with ENOC AutoPro to promote road safety and encourage motorists to adopt responsible driving habits during the summer season.
Launched under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Interior and the Federal Traffic Council, the campaign aims to reduce road accidents by raising awareness among drivers and highlighting that every road user plays a role in protecting lives and property.
Officials from Dubai Police and partner organisations attended the launch, including representatives from the General Department of Traffic, Federal Traffic Council and ENOC AutoPro.
Speaking at the event, Colonel Talal Al Mansouri, Director of the Traffic Awareness Department at Dubai Police, said the campaign focuses on educating drivers about following traffic rules, avoiding risky behaviour and contributing to safer roads.
He highlighted that with the increasing number of vehicles and road users, reducing traffic fatalities remains a key priority, with authorities using data analysis, awareness programmes and modern technology to improve road safety.
Lieutenant Colonel Rashid Humaid bin Hindi from the Federal Traffic Council said the campaign reflects the UAE’s commitment to improving quality of life and achieving the safety goals outlined under the “We the UAE 2031” vision.
As part of the initiative, ENOC AutoPro will provide free vehicle inspections at its workshops, covering 10 important safety checks, including tyres and engine oil, to ensure vehicles are roadworthy during the summer months.
The company will also organise a social media raffle offering four free tyres to selected vehicles that complete the inspection.
Dubai Police said the campaign reinforces the message that safe roads begin with awareness, responsibility and commitment, encouraging everyone to drive carefully and return home safely.
