Dubai Police and ENOC AutoPro have launched the “Summer Without Accidents 2026” campaign to improve road safety and help motorists prepare their vehicles for the UAE’s extreme summer temperatures.
From August 10 to 23, motorists can take advantage of free vehicle inspections at selected AutoPro centres located at ENOC petrol stations across Dubai. The inspection covers 10 essential safety areas designed to identify potential vehicle problems before they become serious risks.
Checks include tyres, engine oil, batteries, brakes, cooling systems, fluids, belts and hoses, among other important components.
The UAE’s high summer temperatures can place additional stress on vehicles and worsen existing mechanical problems. Poor vehicle maintenance can increase the risk of tyre blowouts, engine overheating, battery failure, brake problems and air-conditioning breakdowns.
The campaign has been launched under the Ministry of Interior and the Federal Traffic Council as part of wider efforts to improve road safety and reduce accidents and fatalities.
Authorities are encouraging motorists to make use of the free inspections and address any issues identified by technicians. Regular vehicle checks are particularly important during summer, when extreme heat can affect vehicle performance and road safety.
The initiative aims to promote safer driving habits and ensure motorists and their families can travel safely throughout the summer.
