Actor Imran Khan is officially making his Bollywood comeback after nearly a decade away from the big screen. The actor has confirmed that he has completed filming Adhure Hum Adhure Tum, his first full fledged film in 10 years.
Imran, who became popular with films such as Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, last appeared in a leading role in Katti Batti in 2015. He later made a brief cameo in Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos earlier this year.
Adhure Hum Adhure Tum is described as a grown up romantic comedy that reflects Imran's life stage today. The film stars Gurfateh Pirzada and reunites Imran with director Danish Aslam, who previously worked with him on Break Ke Baad.
The film is currently in post production and is expected to premiere on Netflix later this year. Imran said the project was a personal creative choice and the film he felt he had to make after his long break from cinema.
