Sharjah has unveiled the striking Al Nasr Mosque in Al Dhaid just in time for Ramadan. Inaugurated by Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the mosque features a spectacular 20-metre glass dome made of hexagonal panels that flood the prayer hall with golden sunset light. A uniquely designed 38-metre twisting minaret complements its modern architecture. Spanning over 7,800 square metres, the mosque accommodates 1,325 worshippers, with separate spaces for men and women. It also includes ablution areas, a library, fountain courtyard, landscaped gardens, and an imam’s residence. Blending contemporary design with spiritual calm, the mosque is set to become a key Ramadan gathering spot for residents.
