Dubai will soon allow consumers to file complaints against retailers via WhatsApp for faster resolutions. The Dubai Corporation for Consumer Protection and Fair Trade (DCCPFT) will launch the AI-powered service next month. Users can submit documents and answer questions to receive an official resolution letter, which retailers must honor or face penalties. The initiative, linked to DET’s call center number, aims to simplify consumer protection. Currently in testing, it ensures accessibility and fraud prevention through verified channels.
