The UAE is becoming a testing hub for autonomous technology, with trials of driverless taxis and delivery vehicles already underway. Dubai-based 7X plans nationwide rollout of autonomous deliveries within a year, after successful trials in Abu Dhabi’s Masdar City. CEO Tariq Al Wahedi said the initiative will reduce traffic and costs for courier, express, and parcel services by using a “train-like” system of stops. Other firms, like Yango Technology, are also piloting smart deliveries. 7X additionally launched its National Network for Logistics (NXN) and app-based solutions to enhance quick commerce and efficiency.
