Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma recently stated that he doesn’t feel qualified to work with Shah Rukh Khan, citing a mismatch in cinematic style. He explained that SRK’s romantic films don’t align with his own creative sensibility, which was shaped by classic and intense dramas like Deewaar and Zanjeer. Varma also mentioned that although SRK’s image evolved into an action star, the expectations of his fan base and his own filmmaking preferences still don’t match. He feels the type of cinema that audiences expect from SRK is not the kind he makes.
