Parkonic has revised on-street parking rules for some tenants in Discovery Gardens’ Zen Cluster after confusion over free parking eligibility. Initially, studio residents were told they were ineligible for complimentary parking, but the operator clarified that each unit is entitled to one free space. Due to limited basement capacity in these privately owned buildings, Parkonic will now allocate a fixed number of on-street spaces per building through building-level registration. Residents welcomed the move, calling it a major financial relief as paid parking costs Dh945 per month. Existing digital parking cards will be temporarily disabled from January 24 to realign allocations. Tenants who paid during the transition may apply for a one-time refund by January 30, subject to approval.
