The world’s top-ranked padel players, Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia, will face off in a highly anticipated one-night exhibition match in Abu Dhabi today. The Ultimate Padel Match takes place at Space42 Arena, marking a rare occasion where the dominant World No. 1 duo will compete on opposite sides of the court.

For the first time, the celebrated partnership—known for a remarkable 90% win rate, a 47-match winning streak, and 13 titles in 2025—will be split. Coello will team up with World No. 7 Jorge “Coki” Nieto, who previously ended the pair’s historic run at the 2024 Premier Padel Finals. Meanwhile, Tapia joins forces with Argentine World Champion and World No. 3 Federico Chingotto, renowned for his defensive skills and exceptional court coverage.

The exhibition offers fans a rare chance to witness the sport’s biggest stars competing head-to-head in a matchup not seen on the professional tour calendar. Organisers say the event reflects the rapid rise of padel across the UAE and strengthens Abu Dhabi’s growing reputation as a global sports hub, regularly hosting world-class international events.
