Acclaimed filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has dismissed rumours surrounding delays and health concerns, confirming that his upcoming film Love & War is almost complete. The director revealed that nearly 90 percent of the film has already been shot, with the remaining portions expected to be wrapped up within the next two months.
The much-anticipated romantic drama stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in what is described as an intense love triangle. Recently, speculation circulated online suggesting that the film’s production had been repeatedly delayed and was facing scheduling issues. However, Bhansali clarified that these reports are unfounded.
According to a source close to the project, such rumours surface almost every time the filmmaker begins work on a new project. The source added that the cast members have already completed the number of shooting days they had originally committed to, and the production has progressed largely as planned.
The film has been generating significant buzz among fans, especially since it marks a major collaboration between Bhansali and his star-studded cast. Initially expected to release during Eid 2026, the film is now likely to hit theatres later in the year after June, avoiding a box-office clash with Yash’s upcoming film Toxic.
