The makers of the upcoming film Main Vaapas Aaunga have released its first-look posters, giving audiences a glimpse of what appears to be a nostalgic old-school romance. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film stars Diljit Dosanjh, Sharvari, Vedang Raina and Naseeruddin Shah in key roles.
The posters shared on social media hint at a romantic and emotional narrative set in scenic rural surroundings. One image shows Sharvari riding a bicycle through fields while Vedang Raina runs behind her dressed as a Sikh character, evoking a classic romantic vibe. Another poster features Diljit Dosanjh standing calmly in a field, while in a different frame he is seen holding a travel cup, suggesting his character may be connected to city life or even living abroad.
Though the storyline remains largely under wraps, the visuals hint that the film may unfold across two different timelines. The makers have also announced that the teaser will be released soon.
The film is scheduled to hit theatres on June 12, 2026. Produced by Applause Entertainment and Window Seat Films, the project reunites the celebrated trio of Imtiaz Ali, composer A. R. Rahman, and lyricist Irshad Kamil.
