Bollywood actor Aparshakti Khurana has revealed an unexpected long-term dream, saying he may step away from acting in the next decade to pursue tailoring as a new passion.

Speaking on Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi’s YouTube talk show Double Date, the actor reflected on his early struggles in Mumbai, including a phase when he worked as a stylist for television hosts on Bollywood shows. He shared that the experience sparked a lasting interest in fashion and garment work.

Aparshakti said he now hopes to eventually leave acting and return to learning the basics of tailoring from scratch. He expressed a desire to understand fabric cutting and stitching, saying he wants to fully master the craft over time. “Kapda kaise kaatna hai, kaise silna hai, voh seekhna hai,” he said, describing his long-term goal.

The actor also spoke about his early career struggles, recalling how his messages to casting directors and production houses went unanswered for years. He added that things began to change after marriage, when he suddenly started receiving responses to old emails and messages, which he described as an unexpected turning point in his journey.

Aparshakti made his film debut with Dangal and has since appeared in several successful films and acclaimed projects across Bollywood.
