As Etihad Rail prepares to begin passenger services, a nationwide campaign has been launched inviting residents to choose a symbolic first passenger for its historic inaugural journey.
Titled “The Passenger Who Represents Us All,” the initiative encourages the public to nominate individuals who have made a positive impact in their communities through kindness, service, and everyday contributions.
The selected nominee will occupy Seat 1, Carriage 1 on the first official passenger trip between Fujairah and Abu Dhabi, marking a milestone moment for the UAE’s expanding rail network.
Officials said the campaign is designed to celebrate unsung heroes across the country and give residents a chance to honour those who quietly make a difference in society.
