Actor Ayushmann Khurrana is set to headline the upcoming Yash Raj Films project Mupapa, with the makers officially locking its theatrical release date for February 19, 2027.
The film is a collaboration between Yash Raj Films and Posham Pa Pictures, and is being produced by YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani. Directed by Sameer Saxena, Mupapa is being positioned as a genre-defying theatrical experience aimed at delivering a visually striking and immersive big-screen narrative.
The film is expected to focus on high-intensity storytelling and edge-of-the-seat drama from the opening moments, in line with YRF’s evolving slate of theatrical projects.
Ayushmann, last seen in Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, continues his run of performance-driven cinema, with Mupapa adding to his diverse lineup of upcoming releases.
