Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has restarted its popular tourist electric abra service at Al Mamzar Station, giving residents and visitors another scenic way to experience the city’s waterfront.

The service, which had been temporarily suspended due to development works, is now operating daily from 4 PM to 11 PM.

The electric abra offers private rides accommodating up to eight passengers, allowing visitors to enjoy panoramic views of Dubai’s skyline, coastline, and nearby attractions. A 30-minute ride costs Dh60, while a 60-minute رحلة is priced at Dh120.

The service connects passengers to popular leisure spots around Al Mamzar, making it an attractive option for families, tourists, and those looking for a unique sightseeing experience on the water.

The RTA said the relaunch forms part of its ongoing efforts to enhance Dubai’s tourism offerings while promoting environmentally friendly and sustainable transport solutions across the emirate.

With the return of the electric abra, visitors can once again enjoy a relaxing cruise along one of Dubai’s most picturesque waterfront areas.
