Actor and dancer Raghav Juyal believes Bollywood needs to bring back fun, feel-good entertainers similar to the films once headlined by Govinda, saying audiences deserve cinema that helps them forget everyday stress.
Speaking ahead of the release of his upcoming comedy Bhai Tera Star Hai, Raghav said people today are dealing with enough pressure in their lives and need films that simply make them laugh.
He shared that his character in the film is an aspiring actor who dreams of becoming a superstar, adding that he sees a lot of himself in the role. Raghav said believing in your dreams, even when they seem unrealistic, is what keeps people moving forward.
The actor also revealed that he has consciously avoided following a formula in his career. Instead of choosing projects based on trends, he prefers roles that excite him and offer something different.
Reflecting on the current state of comedy films, Raghav said there is room once again for wholesome entertainers that families can enjoy together, much like the classic comedy films of the 1990s.
Bhai Tera Star Hai marks Raghav Juyal's first film as a solo lead and is expected to showcase his comic timing alongside his acting skills.
