Shah Rukh Khan has overtaken Virat Kohli to become India's most valuable celebrity brand in 2025, according to Kroll India's Celebrity Brand Valuation 2025 report.

The Bollywood superstar climbed from third place in 2024 to the top spot this year with a brand value of USD 177.9 million. Ranveer Singh retained second place with USD 162.9 million, while Virat Kohli slipped from first to third with a brand value of USD 158.4 million.

The rankings are based on the value of celebrities' endorsement portfolios and their influence across social media platforms.

Although the combined brand value of India's top 25 celebrities dipped by 3.7% from last year, it remained strong at USD 2 billion, higher than the USD 1.9 billion recorded in 2023.

Among other notable names, Sachin Tendulkar climbed from fifth to fourth with a brand value of USD 125.9 million, while MS Dhoni moved up to fifth at USD 115.3 million, driven by a rise in endorsement deals.

Alia Bhatt remained the highest-ranked female celebrity despite slipping to sixth place with USD 93.9 million, followed by Deepika Padukone in seventh with USD 89.2 million.

Other celebrities making notable gains included Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor, Salman Khan, Rohit Sharma, Rashmika Mandanna, Shraddha Kapoor, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Ananya Panday, and Janhvi Kapoor, all of whom improved their rankings in this year's report.
