The much-anticipated horror comedy Bhooth Bangla, starring Akshay Kumar and directed by Priyadarshan, has officially locked its release date. The film is set to hit cinemas on May 15, 2026, marking the reunion of the actor-director duo after 14 years.
Excitement around the project has been steadily building following the release of its first poster and motion teaser. Known for delivering some of Bollywood’s most successful horror comedies, Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan are expected to bring their signature blend of humour and scares back to the big screen.
Bhooth Bangla features a strong ensemble cast including Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jisshu Sengupta. The film is produced by Balaji Telefilms and Cape of Good Films.
