Emirates airline has announced a change to their baggage allowance policy which will come into action next month.
As per the Emirates circular, several fare types will have their baggage allowance reduced by 5kg. In next coming month, the airline is going to imply a new free baggage allowance scheme for Economy flyers. Recently, the airline had separated the Economy fares into four ticket types: a) Special, b) Saver, c) Flex and d) Flex Plus.
February 4th onwards, Special and Saver ticket holders will have a baggage allowance of 15kg and 25kg respectively. At first, these tickets were allowed for 20kg and 30kg of baggage. Flex and Flex Plus baggage allowances will remain the same.
Any of the tickets issued before February 4 will still be able to follow the old baggage allowance scheme.
