Great news for UAE families — students across the country will be heading back to classrooms from Monday, April 20, after over a month of distance learning.

The Ministry of Education has confirmed the resumption of in-person learning for all students and staff across public and private nurseries, kindergartens, and schools. Universities will also return to face-to-face learning from the same date, as confirmed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

While the situation has stabilized, schools are expected to maintain flexible systems to ensure continuity of education should circumstances change again. Private schools may also implement hybrid or rotational learning models when necessary, subject to regulatory approval.

On fees, schools have clarified that tuition fees remain payable as long as education is delivered, including during distance learning periods.
