The new floating station will integrate marine transport with the Dubai metro and buses.
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has unveiled the UAE’s first floating station.
The floating station found at Dubai Festival City is aptly named Dubai Festival City Marine Transport Station and links from Jadaf to Dubai Festival City marine line with public buses and Creek Metro Station.
This move is set to improve travel for both residents and tourists, giving easier access to Dubai Festival City. The Abra service runs every 10 minutes between Dubai Festival City and Jadaf Stations daily from 7 am until midnight at a cost of Dh2.

The station is the first of several planned new marine stations in locations including Business Bay, Dubai Water Canal across Jumeirah beaches. By 2020, a total of 55 marine transit stations will operate across Dubai.
