An official announcement was made by Ranveer Singh via his Twitter and Instagram accounts that Deepika Padukone is going to be a part of the cast of ’83 which is going to be directed by Kabir Khan.
Deepika Padukone will be playing the role of Kapil Dev’s wife Romi Dev in the film and this will be the first time we will see the pairing of Ranveer and Deepika onscreen after their grand wedding in November 2018.
'83' that revolves around India's victory at 1983 World Cup against West Indies will hit theatre screens on April 10, 2020.
