Suresh Raina continues to make his presence felt in the domestic circuit as the left-handed batsman has become the first Indian player to score 8000 runs in T20 cricket on Monday.
Raina (8001 runs) achieved this feat when he scored 12 runs for Uttar Pradesh against Puducherry in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy match in Delhi which also marked his 300th appearance in the shortest format of the game. He is the second Indian player to have played 300 T20s after wicketkeeper MS Dhoni. Rohit Sharma is third in the list with 299 matches so far to his name.
