Indian expats seeking passport services of the Indian missions in the UAE will now have to submit their applications online before visiting the application centers. The applications for passport services have to be submitted on the portal of Passport Seva https://embassy.passportindia.gov.in at Indian Embassies and Consulates which will be integrated with the passport service system here and is a preliminary step towards issuing chip-based electronic passports thus eliminating paperwork and time.
