Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan are coming together for the first time ever in their upcoming cricket centered film The Zoya Factor. The movie is based on Anuja Chauhan's best-selling novel by the same name. The film revolves around the story of a Rajput girl named Zoya Singh Solanki who meets the Indian Cricket Team through her job as an executive in an advertising agency and becomes a lucky charm for the team in the 2010 Cricket World Cup.
Zoya starts liking the skipper Nikhil Khoda who doesn't believe in luck and superstitions.
The film is directed by Abhishek Sharma and produced by Pooja Shetty Deora, The Zoya Factor is set to hit the theatres on September 20. Earlier, the film's release date was June 19, but the makers pushed it due to the world cup. Dulquer had also shared the first look of the film featuring the two of them a few months ago.
