Review:

The synopsis may sound like a complicated past life mystery story with wonders, but it’s the Houseful franchise, guys. So loosen up. Nothing is as serious as it seems and the only thing that can kill or make you stronger, are the PJs. Director Farhad Samji plays up to his talent of bringing low brow funny rhyming one-liners that bring out the majority of LOL moments.

Most of them are so casually pedestrian that it should make even the most serious guys chuckle. Add to that the loud, slapstick humor led by the film’s leading man Akshay Kumar who can go to any lengths to just make you laugh. The rest of the cast just rallies around him mouthing Farhad Samji’s sometimes witty sometimes lame and lazy oneliners.

The first half packs in the maximum fun but the second half is stretched and repetitive. However, if you’re a fan of the Houseful brand of humor then leave your brains home and leave the theatre laughing.
